Job Description

The role of the Management Accountant is really important to us. You will be responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of the financial statements for your designated entities.

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

  • Overseeing all aspects of daily transactional accounting within your areas
  • Monthly preparation of the management accounts in line with our group reporting deadlines
  • P&L articulation to your Finance Manager, detailing variances to budgets and key trends
  • Detailed balance sheet and cash flow reviews as part of the monthly reporting cycle
  • Ensuring all intercompany reconciliations are performed as per group deadline.
  • Oversight of detailed and accurate weekly cashflow forecasts, with variance analysis
  • Working with local senior leadership to support business decisions
  • Continually look to improve current process to create efficiencies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Leading on the audit for your designated entities, working with our external audit team to provide the necessary information in a timely manner

Qualifications

Experience / qualifications required:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • A logical thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Embraces and drives change.
  • Organised and able to manage workload / deadlines.
  • Good communicator both inside and outside of Finance
  • Experience in a multi-entity organisation desirable.
