Team Overview

The Financial Services team partners with key financial institutions to deliver information solutions that help clients assess and manage risk, make informed decisions, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth. The team builds strategic relationships and connects client priorities with TransUnion capabilities, supporting the company’s commitment to making a measurable impact for customers and communities. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account and business development strategies for high-opportunity Financial Services clients, supporting annual revenue objectives and long-term account growth.
  • Own the annual revenue target for the assigned client portfolio and identify incremental and transformational business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across key accounts, developing a clear understanding of each client’s priorities, purchasing criteria, and decision-making structure.
  • Maintain an actively managed opportunity pipeline and provide timely, accurate weekly sales and revenue forecasts.
  • Serve as a primary TransUnion representative for assigned strategic accounts, delivering a high standard of client service and strengthening relationships.
  • Engage internal subject-matter experts to identify, position, sell, close, and manage solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Apply consultative selling, prospecting, negotiation, and solution-development practices throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide sales coverage for Financial Services accounts with significant growth potential and maintain advanced knowledge of the sector.
  • Mentor other associates on sales techniques, tools, and best practices while contributing to a collaborative and customer-focused environment

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • At least eight years of general business and sales experience, including experience selling solutions within the Financial Services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience developing business with financial institutions and managing complex or strategic client relationships.
  • Knowledge of lending-related solutions and the credit reporting industry, including the ability to apply this knowledge when identifying client opportunities.
  • Strong business judgment, influencing, problem-solving, project-management, organizational, and interpersonal capabilities.
Required Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written, verbal, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, account priorities, and key deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
