Mainline Technician Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicle systems
• Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Complete work efficiently while meeting productivity and quality standards
• Perform services including brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical repairs
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership guidelines
• Document work performed and recommended repairs clearly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with advisors and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Stay up to date on evolving automotive technology and repair techniques

Mainline Technician Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat rate or high-volume environment
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Certifications (ASE or manufacturer specific) are a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
