Job Description:
As a member of the Mailing team your duties could include any of the following to ensure customer's needs are met. M-F; 12p-8p. Rate of pay is $18 an hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles customer and internal orders according to predefined or custom instructions and works in date and ship method order
- Collates multiple pieces in correct sequence for customer orders, placing in proper spots in folder, insert business cards and applies labels as indicated in instructions
- Inserts collated orders in binders, folders and envelopes as required
- QC’s order to ensure the correct items are picked and items have the correct revision dates
- Notifies lead or manager of any issues
- Enters information into the pack verification system and partials carton contents accurately
- Prepares all shipments to ensure the client receives the packages in the best possible condition
- Meters out all products via the electronic shipping system, ensuring all packages are placed on the correct skids for each carrier
- May need to wrap skids and load pallets into trucks and perform some end of day manifest requirements
- May also be asked to help prep mail or assist in other departments
- May help in the process center where orders are assembled
- Promotes atmosphere of team work
- Follows work direction given by coordinators and leads.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma / GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience:
- 1+ years work experience - preferable in a similar type of role
- Ability to work 12:00 - 8:00 pm Monday - Friday
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
- Ability to do basic math calculations
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
