Summary:

Must have 1+ years of machining experience, manual and CNC.   Vertical and Horizontal Lathe experience needed.    Must be able to swing shifts (day and afternoon)

 

The right candidate will 

  • Be able to perform set-ups and operations on various machines such as:
    • CNC Horizontal Mills (Heidenhain Control)
    • CNC Vertical Mills (Fanuc Control)
    • CNC Vertical Lathe (Siemens Control)
    • CNC Horizontal Lathe (Siemens Control)
    • CNC Horizontal Lathe (Fanuc Control)
    • Manual Vertical Mill (Bridgeport)
    • Manual Vertical Lathe (6 Foot)
    • Manual Horizontal Mill (Supermill)
    • Horizontal Lathe (Poreba)
  • Have experience with using measuring devices such as:
    • Tape Measure
    • Inside/Outside Mics
    • Calipers
    • Depth Mics
  • Understanding of and ability to read blueprints
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to work with others and follow directions
  • Have excellent attendance
  • Be aware of surrounds and safety of others
  • Report any and all unsafe conditions immediately
  • Hazard Communications- Knows/understands hazard of the job assignment before starting
  • Basic understanding of safety policies and procedures
  • Performs clean up
  • Ability to operate a fork truck (training will be provided on site)
  • Ability to operate a crane safely (training will be provided on site)
    • Lift equipment safely
    • Knowing where disconnect switches are
    • Perform inspection of crane before use
    • Inspect straps and chains before use
    • Checking any and all rigging before performing lift
