Relative Dynamics Inc. is seeking to hire a Machinist to setup/operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers and manual shop equipment to manufacture mechanical prototypes and machine components from engineering CAD drawings and sketches. The machinist shall work in various materials to include metal, wood, plastics, nylon, composites, and others. The Machinist must work with minimum supervision.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Works from prints, complex drawings, sketches, or samples to accomplish layout and plan for sequential machine operations.
  • Works with a variety of metals and materials.
  • Has basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing(GD&T) for inspecting parts.
  • Must be able to set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers by utilizing set up sheets, tooling lists, and load programs.
  • Operates various hand and power tools to perform fabrication processes to assemble hardware in machine components.
  • Under minimum supervision, plans and performs machine operations manual lathes, milling machines, drill press, shear, and other support equipment.

  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a machinist, 5 years is preferred

Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
