Job Description
Team:
ServiceNow's Skills Intelligence team is responsible for finding, developing, and using data from internal and external HR data to help improve the experience for our users and customers. From predicting finding new and trending skills, to text mining hundreds of millions of textual documents.
The ideal candidate for this position is a machine learning engineer with a strong background in deploying and maintaining machine learning APIs and pipelines, DevOps technologies, data pipelines, and strong passion for machine learning skills. The candidate must have a desire for working with large scale ML & data projects alongside a data science and analytics team. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that allows direct influence on the organization and all our customers. In this role, you will support the data and machine learning infrastructure required for our skills intelligence platform.
What you get to do in this role:

• Collaborate with knowledgeable and advanced data science, data analytics, and data engineering teams to help our skills-intelligence initiatives and projects succeed.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Become a subject matter expert in machine learning technology and associated DevOps tooling and providing curated insights in a timely manner involving model pipelines of various sizes and dependencies.
• Learn how to use the deployment and integration machine learning harnesses and technology stack that makes ServiceNow a leader in platform services- and use that knowledge to move skills intelligence goals forward.
• Develop automation tools to facilitate and improve day-to-day operations.
• Contribute and foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

• Skilled with development using Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with AWS ML and DE tools such as Glue, Lamba, Batch, ECS, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.
• Desire to develop DE tools and support in an Infrastructure-as-code environment.
• Experience and desire to solve ML Engineering problems.
• Experience with data structures, data formats, and database technologies.
• Familiar with DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies developing and deploying mission-critical software.
• Eagerness to learn everything about the ServiceNow Platform.
• Desire to work closely alongside rapidly moving data science, analytics, and engineering teams.
