About the Role
The Microsoft 365 Architect plays a pivotal role in the governance and delivery of Microsoft focused Intelligent Workspace solutions in the Microsoft 365 stack. This will focus on the business outcomes that can be realised by leveraging agile ways of working while providing our customers deep ongoing, proactive, strategic guidance and operational engagement and support.
The Microsoft 365 Architect will work with customers to transform their business with cloud first productivity and collaborations solutions for their digital transformation journey. Providing standards and solutions to our MS 365 offering and acting as an escalation point/SME for our technology operations staff.
Focusing on consulting and delivery of Microsoft 365 workloads spanning data, files, communications and collaboration, security and identity and access management that ties these together
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise customers
- Lead solution architecture, technical governance, and project delivery activities
- Provide expert guidance across Microsoft 365 technologies
- Develop high-level and detailed solution designs for new environments and projects
- Create high-quality technical and operational documentation
- Act as an escalation point and technical SME for operational teams
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Contribute to training, mentoring, and capability development across teams

Technical Expertise
We're looking for someone with strong experience designing and delivering solutions across:

- Microsoft Entra ID
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams Voice
- Exchange Online / Working knowledge of on-prem Exchange
- Working knowledge of Windows Server Technologies
- Working knowledge of Device Management and Endpoint Solutions
- Automation and Scripting Technologies
- Migration and collaboration tooling such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and Mimecast
Experience
- 8+ years' experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions
- Experience delivering complex projects
- Strong background in Microsoft Identity and modern workplace technologies
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience producing architecture, design, and technical documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer consulting skills
