As a Meetings and Events (M&E) Supervisor, you’ll be keeping the M&E operation running like clockwork and leading your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! We set high standards for ourselves to surprise and delight our guests, so you’ll need to manage the M&E operation with a passion to deliver excellent customer care. 
If you’re our ideal M&E Supervisor, you will: 
• Be yourself!

• Be able to start early mornings and finish late evenings  
• Be a vibrant host for customers and an expert in recognising their needs- customer retention is a crucial part of this role!
• Be hands on and visible in the operation with the ability to lead and multi-task
• Keep the details in mind- you’ll take ownership for ensuring the hotel facilities and equipment are well-maintained 
• Have great communication skills - it’s important to establish relationships with organisers, and other departments within the hotel!
• Ensure that staffing levels are adequate for upcoming events 
• Assisting the F&B Team whenever M&E is not busy

Skills Required

  • Ability to start early mornings and finish late evenings
  • Strong customer service and guest-hosting skills with focus on customer retention
  • Hands-on leadership with ability to be visible in operation and multi-task
  • Responsibility for ensuring hotel facilities and event equipment are well-maintained
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with organisers and internal departments
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for upcoming events
  • Willingness to assist the Food & Beverage team when M&E is not busy
