We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily lubricant operations through inventory management, dispatch coordination, logistics planning, and driver communication. This role serves as a key link between drivers, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and operations leadership to ensure accurate inventory, efficient product movement, and timely customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily lubricant operations, including dispatch support, delivery planning, and logistics activities.
- Serve as a primary point of communication between drivers, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and operations leadership.
- Support driver engagement and monitor delivery performance, route execution, and operational metrics.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability to support customer and operational needs.
- Perform inventory cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track inbound and outbound product movement and coordinate transfers between locations.
- Partner with warehouse teams to resolve inventory issues and ensure product availability.
- Maintain operational reports related to inventory, logistics, and delivery performance.
- Support inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience supporting drivers, delivery operations, or transportation teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Experience with SmartLogix and/or Samsara.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience in the lubricant, fuel, transportation, logistics, or distribution industries.
- 1+ year of SAP experience.
