[LTA-RLE&M] SENIOR/EXECUTIVE/PROJECT ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL SERVICES
[What the role is]
SENIOR / EXECUTIVE / PROJECT ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL / MECHANICAL SERVICES[What you will be working on]
You will play a lead role in managing the Building Services Contractors in the construction of underground MRT stations. You will be involved with managing the safety, quality and progress of the Contractors’ works. You will assist the Project Managers in planning and managing the cashflows of the various contracts as well as the issuance of instructions and assessment of variations/ payments/ claims.
You will liaise with various parties, such as other project teams, system wide and civil contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and appointed Railway Operator to ensure that the projects are well coordinated.

• Knowledge in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Possessing relevant working experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects
• Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, electrical works
• Strong project management and leadership skills with proven track records
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented
• Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays

Areas of Divisions
•Rail E&M Services – Oversees the design, installation and commissioning of Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) systems for MRT stations and tunnels, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary systems.
•Road E&M Services – Manages E&M systems for road infrastructure projects, including tunnel ventilation systems, lighting, power supply, fire protection and traffic control systems.
•Lifts and Escalators – Oversees the procurement, installation, upgrading and maintenance of lifts and escalators across MRT stations and other transport facilities.
•Depot E&M Services – Responsible for E&M systems within rail depots, including building services, power distribution, HVAC, fire protection and associated facilities.
•E&M Coordination – Ensures effective coordination of multidisciplinary E&M interfaces across Rail infrastructure projects, working closely with contractors, consultants and project teams to resolve design and construction issues. Oversees design coordination, site progress, system integration and key project milestones to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
•Bus Infrastructure E&M Services – Manages the design, installation and maintenance of E&M systems for bus interchanges, depots and other bus infrastructure facilities, including building services and associated systems.
Skills Required
- Knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant working experience (preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects)
