REITs Administration - Assistant Manager / Manager

The Position
Global Trust & Agency provides trustee and agency services across international capital markets and investment trusts, supporting property trusts, private unit trusts, and other corporate trust mandates.
REIT trustee services is a core and growing business line for the franchise. This role offers hands-on ownership of REIT trustee mandates, working closely with investment managers, bankers, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are executed efficiently, in compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm's fiduciary obligations as trustee.
Key Responsibilities
Support new deal execution, including working with the onboarding team to onboard new clients and ensuring timely execution of transaction documents.
Oversee and coordinate all transactional aspects of documentation including participation in reviewing documents related to legal, tax and accounting matters, general operations and internal board reporting.
Manage transactions end-to-end as transaction manager, engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess and resolve transactional issues.
Lead negotiation of specialised counterparty documentation, including trust deeds, financing agreements, service agreements and other trust-related agreements.
Act as deal manager and primary client contact, liaising with intermediaries including client transaction management teams, client finance teams and external legal counsel.
Coordinate across compliance, risk, finance and legal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Monitor ongoing compliance with trust documentation, covenants, obligations and maintain accurate transaction records.
Support day-to-day administration and cash management functions relating to bank account openings, signatory maintenance, payment instructions and other banking-related matters.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Experience & Technical Capabilities
3–5 years' experience in corporate finance (legal, banking, or funds management); exposure to Singapore REIT transactions or debt capital market transactions highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail, with a sound working knowledge of reviewing transaction documents and AML/CTF/KYC regulatory requirements.
Core Skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Strong written and verbal business communication skills.
Preferred Background
Degree in Banking & Finance or a related discipline.
Completion of CMFAS Module 10 (Rules and Regulations for REIT Management) with working product knowledge.
