Micron is hiring a Product Marketing Specialist based in Boise, ID!   As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will assist the Product Marketing team in the planning and execution of the company’s DRAM and Proven State Drive (SSD) product line portfolio! 

Responsibilities will include the collaboration with cross-functional teams that include engineering, sales, and operations to help define outstanding products that seek our customer’s needs. This role will monitor and track the market dynamics, competitive position, and performance to plan. While partnering with the sales team to execute the business plan and present segment results to management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading product from cradle to grave to ensure product financial plans are met (full P&L ownership)
  • Ensuring product requirements & specification meet target OEMs & segments
  • Creating & maintaining market-focused go-to-market plans that clearly communicate product positioning, enablement plans, profitable ramps, and underlying priorities
  • Maintaining clear and timely communication around the health, priorities, and trade-offs across all levels of the Micron organization to drive best-in-class execution over the lifecycle of our products – from development to end-of-life
  • Driving product development teams to meet product objectives & close / escalate open issues affecting OEM opportunities, hold other teams to be accountable in 3rd party component selection (controllers, capacitors, substrates, etc.)
  • Generating product collateral (roadmaps, sales tools, etc.)
  • Performing ad hoc analysis for senior management on relevant metrics of the product line

Requirements:

  • Degree in EE with 3 years+ experience in Product Management or Marketing experiences
