Job Responsibilities:

What you can expect

The Logistic Subject Matter Expert role will be responsible for Logistic process standardization, supporting, and developing processes. This will involve working hands-on with business partners, solution owners and global SAP team members.

  • Support in-depth analyses of existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending transformative improvements and optimization
  • Proactively explore and propose enhancements that can deliver measurable benefits, such as cost savings, efficiency gains, or improved compliance or quality
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units, translating technical capabilities into tangible business value and strategic insights
  • Work closely with both internal and external consultants to ensure seamless integration across the entire Magna landscape
  • Support comprehensive solution designs that align with both business requirements and industry best practices
  • Work closely with business area stakeholders to address specific needs, ensuring that operational issues are resolved in a manner that minimizes business disruption and drive efficiency
  • Ensure that configurations are not only robust but also scalable, supporting future business growth and transformation initiatives while adhering to compliance and quality standards
  • Play a key role in the S4/HANA transformation of ME landscape, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions during global and regional implementations and innovation projects
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts, research, recommends and initiates implementation of enhancements to processes and programs
  • Ability to travel when necessary to product development locations

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP processes
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Working knowledge in structured approach
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment
  • Able to travel (domestic and international)
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP (preferably SAP) implementation and support
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (speaking & writing)

Skills Required
