About the Function:
Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.
With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.
It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.
About the Role:
The Logistics Systems & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Diageo Australia’s MOVE function by ensuring logistics systems, transactions, reconciliations and operational administration run accurately and efficiently. This role provides critical support across SAP, WMS, ASRS, EDI interfaces and reporting processes to help protect inventory accuracy, customer service and smooth logistics execution.
Working closely with warehouse, transport, customer service, finance, IT and 3PL partners, you will help maintain system integrity, resolve transactional issues, support shipment visibility and provide operational support to MOVE leadership across the logistics network.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support SAP, WMS and ASRS logistics processes, ensuring transactions, system flows and operational data are accurate and aligned to warehouse and customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate reconciliation activities across inventory, warehouse movements, shipment records, returns, claims and financial control processes, resolving exceptions and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Act as a key support contact for EDI and system interfaces, monitoring failures, rejected messages and order or shipment data issues, and coordinating resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide systems and transactional support to users by troubleshooting issues, supporting master data accuracy, raising defects and assisting with approved system changes, testing and process updates.
- Deliver reporting, dashboard support, issue tracking, meeting coordination and process documentation for the MOVE leadership team to improve visibility and governance across logistics operations.
- Find opportunities to simplify and improve logistics administration, reporting, system processes and user support through stronger controls, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Experience in logistics, warehouse or transport administration, supply chain support, inventory control or systems coordination within FMCG, manufacturing, retail distribution or a similar operational environment.
- Hands-on experience using ERP/SAP, WMS or similar logistics systems, with confidence managing transactions, records, reconciliations and system-related queries.
- Strong data accuracy and reconciliation capability, with experience handling shipment records, warehouse movements, inventory data, reporting or exception management.
- Experience working across warehouse, transport, customer service, finance, IT or 3PL stakeholders to resolve issues and support day-to-day operations.
- Excel and reporting capability, with the ability to analyse data, identify mismatches, and maintain accurate trackers, records and operational reports.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support users, document processes, raise risks clearly and contribute to continuous improvement across logistics operations.
- Valid forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
