ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1.    Ensures that customer orders are shipped in a timely manner.
2.    Responsible for inbound shipments and ensuring they are stocked timely.
3.    Is the direct contact with forwarders on daily issues.
4.    Resolves issues and problems with outbound and inbound shipments.
5.    Tracks deliveries and arranges for POD’s (Proof of Delivery) when required.
6.    Arranges shipment pickups.
7.    Ensures that correct carriers and services are selected.
8.    Ensures that shipping paperwork and export documents are filled out correctly.
9.    Main contact for customer service and related logistics matters.
10.    Coordinates all warehouse activities.
11.    Contains on-hold products.
12.    Responsible for RGA’s.
13.    Performs physical handling of returned products.
14.    Performs administrative bookings of shipments in the database.
15.    Assists colleagues and manager with various responsibilities.
16.    Performs other duties and tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Education equivalent to a High School diploma.
•    Work related experience equivalent of two years of previous warehouse experience, with three months of warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
•    Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
•    Ability to be neat and organized and pay extreme attention to detail.
•    Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
•    Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well with others.
•    Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
•    Fluent in the language applicable to the region, both written and verbally.

Infectious Control Risk Category III:

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.  Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.
