Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for intermediate level handling of one or more of the following areas: receiving, checking, warehousing and dispatching functions for finished goods.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pre-shipment inspection for accuracy
- Goods receipt, put-away, order picking, order packing, order shipping, and order posting;
- Cycle counting and general record keeping;
- Utilize automated shipping systems to process domestic orders for shipping;
- Reorder and maintain adequate level of shipping supplies;
- Replenishment of inventories and shipping stations;
- Organize and maintain good housekeeping in warehouse;
- Schedule shipment pick-ups;
- Routinely lifts and carries up to 50 pounds;
- May operate a palet jack;
- Perform other duties as assigned;

- Prior experience in warehouse shipping and receiving practices;
- General mathematical skills;
- Ability to read, understand, and follow Company quality policy;
- Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting;
- Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds;
- Good communication and computer skills;
- Good housekeeping and record skills;
- Hands on mentality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior warehousing experience;
- Technical back-ground
- Fluent in English
Education:
Diploma preferred.
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in a warehouse environment. Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when working in the warehouse or walking in the facilities.
