Job Description:
Logistics SpecialistHuntsman is seeking a Logistics Specialist supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in McIntosh. This position will report to the Logistics Team Leader.
Job Scope
In summary, as the Logistics Specialist, you will:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including bulk and packaged materials.
- Performance of transactions associated with month end closing and inventory control process.
- Schedule transportation and communication with carriers, vendors, and customers.
- Verification of certificates of analysis for raw materials and reporting of non-conformances associated with vendor shipments of raw materials.
- Coordination of traffic movement of finished goods to all distribution locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for non-saleable and off-specification materials, including batch releases, re-labeling, re-sampling, and disposition activities.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics, inventory, shipping, customer service, or manufacturing experience.
- SAP experience required.
Skills and knowledge
- Strong knowledge of 49 CFR Transportation of Hazardous Materials.
- Basic knowledge of chemical manufacturing is required.
- Proficiency in computer software skills such as Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. Working knowledge of SAP data systems required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Assosiates degree in business field preferred.
Working Environment
- This position may require some involvement with materials regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This involvement may require an understanding of applicable rules and procedures associated with RCRA waste. A combination of training methods, e.g., Computer-based Training, Classroom, and/or On-the-job training, will be provided prior to any such involvement with RCRA regulated waste.
