What We OfferAs a Logistics Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing procurement strategies within the logistics sectors. You will collaborate with various departments to implement and support procurement agreements, driving operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with strategic objectives.
Your tasks will include:
Manage procurement operations for logistics categories, including handling ad-hoc quotation requests in the area of Logistics Procurement.
Optimize master data and manage procurement systems to support efficient logistics procurement processes.
Drive continuous process improvements, addressing inefficiencies (e.g., invoice discrepancies) and enhancing operational performance.
Collaborate with strategic procurement teams to align on operational execution with overall logistics procurement strategies.
Facilitate purchase order execution, supplier engagement, and the alignment of operational actions with procurement strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication across departments, countries, and cultures.
Support and drive initiatives for improved efficiency and effectiveness, while adapting to additional tasks as requested.
Act as a role model, promoting company values and fostering a healthy, collaborative work environment, and encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.
The minimum salary on this position is 1900 EUR. The salary can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.
What You OfferDegree in business, procurement, logistics, or related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or logistics, ideally in a similar operational role
Knowledge of SAP (or similar systems), with the ability to quickly learn specific systems (e.g. P1P).
Familiarity with logistics and procurement, with the willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders from various departments, countries, and cultures.
Experience in managing procurement processes, including purchase order execution and supplier relationship management.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to processes in a logistics procurement environment.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Business fluent in English, German language is an advantage.
