The Logistics Site Leader will lead logistics operations across two Cincinnati area-based sites, including one internal GE Aerospace operation and one third-party logistics (3PL) operated site. This role supports a diverse logistics network serving production, assembly, repack, warehouse, and spares fulfillment activities for both commercial and military aviation.
This leader is responsible for end-to-end warehousing operations, including inbound and receiving, warehousing, inventory control, kitting, packing and repack, shipping, material flow to production, and spares fulfillment. The role is approximately 70% focused on the 3PL-operated site and 30% focused on the internal site, with full ownership of the 3PL relationship and accountability for performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead logistics and warehousing operations across two Evendale-based sites supporting production, assembly, repack, warehouse, and spares fulfillment activities.
- Own end-to-end execution for inbound and receiving, warehousing, inventory control, kitting, packing and repack, shipping, material flow to production, and spares fulfillment.
- Serve as the site leader for one internal GE Aerospace site and one 3PL-operated site, ensuring alignment to business priorities and operational requirements.
- Lead a team that includes 6 exempt employees, 17 hourly employees, and operational responsibility across 140 contract labor resources.
- Own the third-party logistics provider relationship, including daily operating management, performance reviews, staffing and capacity alignment, escalation management, service delivery, budget adherence, contract management and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational performance through daily management and accountability to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
- Partner closely with production, supply chain, planning, sourcing, fulfillment, and quality teams to ensure material availability and reliable execution in support of customer and production needs.
- Lead problem solving and issue resolution related to warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, shortages, production support, and operating flow.
- Develop and execute action plans to improve warehouse flow, inventory accuracy, service levels, productivity, and cost performance.
- Lead operational changes required to support 24/7 operations, including holidays, with a focus on weekend and night shift capability across the logistics network.
- Support expansion and capacity planning tied to business growth and transition priorities, including long lead-time equipment and infrastructure readiness.
- Ensure compliance with standard work, inventory controls, site procedures, and operational requirements across both internal and 3PL environments.
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership while maintaining a strategic view of future needs, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or production control.
