Job Description
As the Logistics and Procurement Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of logistics and procurement activities, ensuring effective execution by the team. Your role will involve analyzing key data to provide strategic recommendations, contributing to the organization's decision-making processes
We are seeking a dynamic leader who excels in strategic thinking, maintains a strong work pace, and demonstrates composure under pressure. This role requires an individual with the ability to inspire and guide their team towards success.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that deliveries process is complete and done in a timely manner and that potential issues have been identified for pending orders.
- Audit and receive the goods in the Erp system.
- Place Purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
- Support and delegate some tasks for quotations, negotiation of pricing and analysis to recommend vendors.
- Provide support with the application of complex procurement standards and procedures, including negotiation.
- Meet with vendors to discuss current performance and opportunities for improvement
- Researches, analyzes, and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products
- Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
- Negotiates contracts and agreements with wholesalers and suppliers.
- Assesses financial risks of purchases
- QBR’s to vendors
- Project material / Problem solving
- Support other Averna Regions for procurement activities
Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or another related field preferred.
- Experienced: A minimum of five years’ purchasing / logistics and procurement in a management or team leading role is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- knowledge of ERP System, SAP or equivalent
- Management/team player; Strong interpersonal skills, good communication, skilled at escalating issues when necessary
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Quick learner, flexible thinker
- Ability to multitask in a complex, high-paced and, at times stressful environment
- Bilingual: Fluent in Polish & English, knowledge of German is a plus
- Travel: Flexibility to travel on a quarterly basis within our European offices
