Join Our Supply Chain Team

We are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Stallingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and logistics experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered efficiently and on time.

As a Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, supporting customs processes, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth movement of goods across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the logistics of customer orders across the UK and EU markets.

  • Process export and import customs documentation for EU shipments.

  • Support the deep-sea logistics team with availability dates and batch selection for deep-sea orders.

  • Arrange transport across various modes, ensuring accurate loading lists and freight accruals.

  • Prepare despatch documentation and customs paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Liaise with the Production Planner to ensure materials are available for shipment within agreed customer deadlines.

  • Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for non-standard customer requests.

  • Work closely with Customer Service and other supply chain stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and order fulfilment.

  • Support the Supply Chain team with day-to-day administration, data collation and reporting activities.

  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end supply chain activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

  • Carry out general office administration duties, including filing, document management and meeting preparation.

  • Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role:

  • Must be degree-level educated, with the ability to analyse information, manage multiple priorities and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in a work environment with proven stability.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.

  • A flexible approach, with the ability to support occasional out-of-hours issues when required.
