The Logistical department enables JET to widen the Restaurant Partner offering to customers, as well as offer various convenience and groceries options that will help empower our customers every convenience moment.

All about the role

Within Logistics, the Logistics Network Management team are natural connectors that add value to our stakeholders by having a broad overarching view on logistic systems, their interdependencies, and understanding of their impact on KPIs. Coupled with practical knowledge of local Operations, we provide operational insights as well as data-driven research into our logistical network, that helps the business to reach their operational and strategic objectives, Product with their improvements, and Leadership in their decision making.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Contributing to and supporting the delivery of global logistical tech infrastructure initiatives, in close cooperation with Product, Operations, and other departments within JET;
• Fostering and maintaining cross-functional collaboration between different teams;
• Conducting detailed analysis of our network of logistic systems to equip stakeholders with the right insights for operational decision-making;
• Assisting in translating local business needs, required improvements, and system priorities to Logistics Network Management and other global teams;
• Developing personal expertise to act as a Subject Matter Expert on the logistic network;
• Staying updated on Logistics innovation within your domain to understand how Logistics contributes to JET’s mission;
• Supporting Operations, Product, and other global teams on projects, routine queries, and system improvements in relevant tech domains.

What will you bring to the table?

• Availability to work in Amsterdam inline with our Hybrid working policy & (for non-EU nationals) in possession of a working permit;
• A technical affinity and analytical capacity, shown by either a relevant technical university degree or relevant working experience;
• A passion for being the bridge between Tech and Operations;
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively and explain operational or technical concepts clearly to various internal audiences (from Operations to Tech teams);
• A proactive mindset with the ability to execute tasks independently and adjust to a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.
