At Supply Chain Operations we connect our customers with IKEA products in a simple, affordable and sustainable way. We lead, plan and execute the supply of IKEA products between suppliers and retailers. We contribute to customer satisfaction through securing customer perceived availability, delivering lowest cost over time, leading towards sustainability and ensuring the right quality for all services.
We are on a journey to strengthen our operations by establishing one IKEA Control Tower. The Control Tower will secure running logistics operations when our global stakeholders across the world need us.
We are looking for Logistics Operations Specialists who will master the daily execution of planning, delivering seamless omnichannel experience for IKEA customers.
Job Description
Your job will be to oversee and make sure that our products are transported smoothly from the supplier to the stores. You'll work with the people and companies that are part of IKEA's supply chain both inside and outside the company.
- You'll be the go-to person for any daily issues that come up, whether it's dealing with suppliers, delivery companies, or stores.
- You are able to build strong relationships and engage stakeholders for securing common goals.
- Keep looking for ways to make our work more efficient by using more digital tools and automating what we can.
- You'll make sure all the information in our systems is right so that we can see where our products are and understand why there are any delays or problems and you will take lead to alert stakeholders when there's incorrect or missing information that affects product delivery.
- Finally, you'll help develop new ways of working and report how well our deliveries are doing.
Qualifications
We need a dedicated colleague with a strong supply chain mindset who has a true passion for the speed of daily operations in our Control Tower and working together with stakeholders across Inter IKEA. As a person you are resilient by having the capability to define and make priorities based on business needs and you have a holistic view on IKEA value chain.
- You have good knowledge in logistics and end-to-end goods flow or relevant working experience in the industry
- You are eager to operate in a fast moving and problem-solving environment
- You have a desire to constantly improve business performance and become better.
- You have high commitment to business goals by delivering results and a make it happen attitude. You always strives to reach goals with a high level of energy and motivation.
- You are analytical, structured and organized.
- You are proactive, and fact-based decisionmaker with the ability to escalate when and if needed
- Good knowledge in ITM is additional advantage
- You speak fluent English and preferably other foreign language.
Additional Information
Working Hours: This position brings you the possibility to work globally and connect with suppliers around the world! This also means that the position will be operation day- evening- night time and over weekends in shifts.
