What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but are not limited to):
- Strategy and Leadership:
- Lead operational activities related to deployment strategy, communication planning, and workflow improvement.
- Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive operations.
- Focus on operational excellence through defined performance metrics and dashboards.
- Build and manage a team to ensure success across research sites in the U.S. and internationally.
- Direct and mentor a large team of Logistics Leads, Site Support Specialists, and Site Setup Specialists.
- Process Management:
- Manage teams and resources to meet project deadlines and operational goals.
- Oversee team meetings and real-time issue resolution.
- Develop and implement retention strategies and individualized talent development plans.
- Site Coordination and Compliance:
- Collaborate with Delivery Teams to execute site setup, trial implementation, maintenance, and decommission.
- Partner with Patient Access and Procurement teams for successful research site establishment.
- Ensure compliance with company-wide objectives and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate transition from setup to launch for clinical operational teams.
- Training and Development:
- Collaborate with Training and People Teams to execute learning plans and modules.
- Lead trainings, conferences, and corporate events related to operations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Create and manage process improvement projects tailored to decentralized trial models.
- Address barriers through strategic projects and initiatives.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Solve new and unexpected challenges within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Utilize networks and channels to find appropriate solutions.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- This is a remote position and requires up to 65% travel requirements. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives. Change the percent of travel as needed.
What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large teams.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management.
- Proficiency in data tracking, process refinement, and report building.
- Comfortable working under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and maintain deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and implement best practices.
- Willingness to travel nationwide up to 10-50% of the time
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
