The Opportunity:

Embark on an exciting journey with CACI’s Mission Solutions and Services Business Group as a Logistics Support Specialist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of Intel systems to military units. Responsibilities:

  • Helps maintain the control of government equipment to ensure 100% accountability between the points of origin through military/units issuance to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes.

  • Develops and drafts the supporting documents for the fielding of the Intel systems (e.g. Materiel Fielding Plan, Memorandum of Agreement, and New Materiel Introductory Briefing).

  • Responsible for all pre-fielding or pre-upgrade communication with military units prior to fielding, including briefings, teleconferences and email exchange.

  • Coordinates with COMSEC Manager and Gaining Unit to ensure vital sensitive material is properly documented and shipped correctly.

  • Preparing shipments for fielding events to include inventory, palletizing, boxing, packaging, wrapping and banding.

  • Prepares shipping documents and coordinates with the warehouse for all transportation requirements to ensure delivery on time for fielding event.

  • Plans, schedules, and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance.

  • Assesses and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

  • Travels to various locations (CONUS and OCONUS) with the fielding team, inventorying and issuing the system to military organizations.

  • Executes duties in support of the ILS elements of Logistics, Transportation, Training, Packaging/Handling/Shipping and Supply Support as they pertain to Material Maintenance Management of the systems.

  • Follows and interprets various Army Regulations and DA Pamphlets as they pertain to the Material Maintenance Management functions of the Acquisition and Fielding of the Intel Systems.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • TS/SCI must be current

  • CI Poly must be obtainable

  • GCSS-A Experience including Course Certification

  • Experience with Property Accountability and Inventory

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) OR 6 years of work experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience.

  • Flexibility – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness.

  • Effective use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Excel is used daily.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,000 - 116,800 USD
