General Characteristics (Job Summary)
- Supervise the work of logistics to ensure that department goals and objectives are met.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review logistics documents such as Packing list, Commercial invoice and Certificate of Origin.
- Manage the selection process of logistics forwarder.
- Manage the delivery process of material from shipping, transit, custom clearance, and delivery to site.
- Control and coordinate with forwarder, other logistics partner, custom, and government entity, if any.
- Manage and ensure the material to be delivered to site on time without delay.
- Manage and expedite the readiness of material by vendor.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience.
- Significant knowledge of logistics.
- Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants.
- Engineering and Construction Company working experience.
Skills and knowledge
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
- Ability to review logistics documents.
- Ability to control and coordinate with forwarder, other logistics partner, custom, and government entity, if any.
- Familiarity with various logistics systems, especially with EPC Companies.
- Working in logistics for construction of plants.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
