Job Description

Doka USA is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support the Operations team in our Salt Lake City Branch located in Lehi, UT. This individual will be responsible for meeting the delivery schedule for ordered material being shipped to the customer job sites, as well as providing operational support to the rest of the team. This is a full-time position and will be on-site in Lehi.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting the delivery schedule for ordered material being shipped to customer job sites and other Doka branch locations.
  • Coordinates load scheduling, order picking, and order fulfillment accuracy in collaboration with the Branch Yard and/or Operations Manager.
  • Process returns in DISCOS, including issuing return numbers, and ensuring proper documentation and handling of returned materials are followed.
  • Ensure all loading and unloading procedures are adhered to, including photographing trucks and confirming proper documentation.
  • Monitors freight costs using Doka’s in-house freight platform and approve freight invoices for accuracy in reference to original quotes and proof of delivery.
  • Bill and track monthly freight on a project.
  • Ensure trucks or trailers are loaded and secured according to established procedures and comply with height and weight requirements.

Other Responsibilities/Peripheral Functions:

  • Other duties/projects as assigned; including participating in company committees/teams.
  • Assists in ensuring safe working practices and a safe working environment. 
  • Complies with all company and compliance policies, guidelines and business practices. 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Technical Proficiency

  • Experience in administration, operations or controlling preferred.
  • Facilitates projects and effectively manages multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, technical proficiency and effective problem solving skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel required.
  • Willing and able to learn new computer systems, products, concepts and techniques.
  • Organized team player able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

In accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws, Doka USA Ltd. is committed to providing a clear and equitable compensation structure. The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 hourly, which is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

This range represents the base pay for the position and does not include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or other forms of compensation. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer and in accordance with internal equity and market data.
