About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Tampa, FL. If you’re someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, loves solving puzzles, and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, this could be the perfect role for you. As a key player in our operations, you’ll support our customers by building orders, dispatching trucks, and making appointments. Your ability to stay cool under pressure, think on your feet, and turn challenges into opportunities will be essential.
CURA offers industry-leading uncapped commission-based pay at 3%. Training pay for this role starts at $50k.
Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Relations: Be the go-to person for all things vendor-related, handling incoming calls and emails with a friendly and professional demeanor. You’ll optimize our vendor network by finding new partners, negotiating rates, and scheduling appointments to enhance the customer experience.
  • Order Management: Create and manage customer orders by seamlessly transferring data from PDFs, Excel, and Outlook to our web-based software.
  • Problem Solving: Work closely with brokers to identify issues and implement effective solutions, ensuring smooth operations between vendors and CURA.
  • Tracking & Communication: Keep a close eye on shipments with hourly tracking and tracing via web-based applications, providing real-time updates to customers and vendors.
  • Data Management: Accurately input and update load data using our internal platform, ensuring all information is up-to-date and precise.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lend a hand with daily customer billing and accounting tasks, working closely with other teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Customer Service: Deliver top-notch service to customers, vendors, and team members, always striving to exceed expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with data entry and computer-based applications.
  • High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, purchasing, import/export, freight brokering, or supply chain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with drayage, ports, or container shipping companies/steamship lines (SSL) is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week. 22 days of pto
