Job summary: Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support shipping, receiving, and inventory administration at our Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, developing organized tracking systems, and working closely with both office and shop teams to ensure materials are tracked efficiently and operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Use computer software to build, implement, and maintain an organized inventory tracking system for the branch
  • Assist with inventory-related administrative tasks: keep accurate records, cycle counts, and conduct inventory checks
  • Work collaboratively with shop personnel on the floor to track incoming and outgoing materials and support daily operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
  • Previous inventory, logistics, warehouse, or related experience is preferred.
  • Experience creating inventory systems or improving processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with office and shop personnel.
  • Reliable transportation- can make the daily commute to Salt Lake City
