JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Coordinator I, under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor performs operational functions related to the dispatching and scheduling of drivers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain route schedules and database information.
- Maintain service distribution reps calendar and schedule internal routes coverage.
- Ensures effective customer service by interfacing with field operations, other internal departments and external vendors and suppliers in resolving transportation problems and in answering or referring questions as appropriate.
- Responds to inquiries regarding tracking information.
- Helps plan, develop, communicate, and monitor transportation routes, drivers schedule, pickup and deliveries, assignments, vehicles maintenance as well as coordinates departures and arrival times with other departments.
- Schedule inbound and outbound courier services while optimizing carrier selection.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in scheduling is preferred.
- Ability to multitask while on the phone is required.
- Knowledge of mapping software and previous data entry experience preferred.
