Logistics Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities for the Logistics Coordinator:
- Review, prepare, and route orders.
- Respond to internal and external customer queries.
- Support monitoring shipments, timelines, productivity, and communicate any delays to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Support addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Support the daily freight operations including communications with freight service providers, customer service, and manufacturing.
- Support utilizing basic data mining techniques and analysis to provide proactive and timely information to management in the decision-making processes.
- Assist management with optimization of transportation procedures.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required for the Logistics Coordinator:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in international or domestic operations.
Preferred for the Logistics Coordinator:
- Prior work experience in logistics/transportation industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
