About Team:

Logistics in Asia-Pac, comprises of teams located in Singapore, Japan and China. For this internship, selected candidate will join members of Logistics Singapore, particularly the Regional Import Coordinator team.

On the regulatory side, Logistics functions by working with transportation vendors to understand about respective Asia-Pac customs clearance process, ensuring that the vendors are compliant as per latest customs requirement.

For this internship role, the individual is required to maintain documentation in terms of importation of kits into and sample exportation out of the countries. This role may also need to document the observations that our team member has obtained, through our team’s discussions with transportation vendors and client importers. There are additional tasks involved e.g., preparing supporting documents about our kits, to support our clients in their import license submissions.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Review and maintain documentation on all Asia-Pac import/export requirements
• Provide administrative and analytical support in day-to-day logistics specific departmental activities.
• Assist to follow up with transportation vendors and internal stakeholders on inquiries, if necessary.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Job is performed in an administrative environment. The member will need to be comfortable working remotely from home, most of the time.
• Skillsets needed:
  • Able to organize data and documents effectively.
  • Good communication skills when interacting with our Project Managers and transportation vendors.
  • Have the “can-do” and proactive mindset when resolving issues.
• Education: University degree, In supply chain and logistics major. Other degrees can be considered as well.
