Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator I – Battery Replacement provides operational and administrative support to the Battery Scheduling Team by managing Service Request (SR) creation, shipping coordination, project updates, and other logistics-related activities for Battery Replacement projects.
This role supports eight (8) Battery Scheduling Project Manager Coordinators II and ensures the timely and accurate completion of key logistics activities. By providing dedicated transactional and coordination support, this position enables the Battery Scheduling Team to focus on on-time project scheduling, customer commitments, project execution, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Service Requests (SRs) for all Battery Replacement projects and add the required tasks to each SR.
- Manage the Service Request creation site and ensure requests are created accurately and within established timelines.
- Release battery orders for shipment and enter shipment information into the UPS portal.
- Maintain and update the shipping tracker to ensure accurate shipment visibility and timely follow-up.
- Create Code 17 Service Requests for battery disposal and recycling associated with Battery Replacement projects.
- Update project completion status for applicable projects in EBS.
- Ensure projects are properly classified and maintained in EBS in accordance with established processes and requirements.
- Coordinate and follow up on shipping and logistics activities to support project timelines and customer commitments.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the Battery Scheduling Team.
- Perform other ad hoc operational and administrative activities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- 1+ year of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience supporting quotation, order entry, fulfillment, or related supply chain processes is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Experience or familiarity with SharePoint, Smartsheet, Oracle or similar business applications is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong time management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Knowledge of U.S. geography, shipping processes, and transportation systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
