C.H. Robinson is seeking a Logistics Associate to support assigned team with operational tasks within the C.H. Robinson Transportation Management System, general account maintenance and any additional structured work assignments required. In this key position, you will be expected to handle any internal or external communication with professionalism and courtesy.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following:
    • Providing timely and professional written and verbal responses to customer requests
    • Booking transportation loads in the Transportation Management System
    • Monitoring team mailboxes
    • Resolving simple exceptions to any pre-defined processes
    • Scheduling delivery appointments with receivers
    • Making any necessary changes as requested by the customer within the Transportation Management System
    • Manual building and creating new Transportation loads within the Transportation Management System
  • Conduct systems trainings to external parties
  • Follow standard operating procedures and update when gaps are identified
  • Run, format, or distribute any reports to the appropriate internal or external parties
  • Contribute to projects that utilize the C.H.Robinson project-based delivery model
Required Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested
  • Site Specific: Fluent in English and the primary language of the applicable region
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Solid understanding of Information systems
  • Friendly and articulate phone demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and accurately
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks
  • Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
