About You and The Role

As Zipline scales its operations across Africa, the ability to run a predictable, efficient, and scalable supply chain is critical to our success. We are looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst based in Côte d'Ivoire who will own core logistics and inventory operations while also building the systems and processes needed to support long-term scale.

This role is designed to elevate performance, bringing stronger ownership, better visibility, tighter cost control, and more strategic thinking to how Zipline manages shipments, inventory, and warehousing. Beyond day-to-day execution, you’ll be responsible for introducing structure, improving data visibility, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting better decision-making across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with strong analytical instincts, a solutions-oriented mindset, and a desire to work cross-functionally to create impact in fast-moving environments.

What You’ll DoShipments Management
  • Own end-to-end coordination of inbound shipments (air and ocean) from origin to final delivery.
  • Drive strong in-country shipment planning, routing, and consolidation strategies to optimize cost, speed, and reliability.
  • Partner closely with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure consistent performance and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze shipment performance across cost, routing, and timelines to identify optimization opportunities.
Customs Clearance & Compliance
  • Oversee end-to-end customs clearance processes in coordination  with brokers and authorities.
  • Manage customs exemption processes, ensuring all eligible imports are properly captured and utilized.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customs authorities to enable fast, compliant, and predictable clearance.
  • Ensure all import/export licenses, authorizations, and regulatory requirements are maintained and renewed.
Inventory Management
  • Own inventory accuracy, visibility, and control across all storage locations.
  • Monitor stock levels, consumption trends, and replenishment needs to maintain optimal inventory health.
  • Lead cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes to ensure high data integrity.
  • Partner with planning and operations teams to improve demand visibility and reduce variability.
Warehouse Management
  • Support the set up and optimization of the warehouse operations, including layout, storage efficiency, and material flow.
  • Ensure warehouses operate with strong controls, organization, and safety standards.
  • Track and improve key performance metrics such as inventory accuracy, stock turns, and space utilization.
  • Drive process improvements to ensure warehouse operations scale effectively.
Vendor Management & Cost Optimization
  • Manage relationships with logistics partners (freight forwarders, brokers, transporters).
  • Oversee inland transport planning and execution from port to operational sites.
  • Track vendor performance across cost, service, and reliability, and drive accountability.
  • Analyze logistics costs (freight, duties, clearance, transport, warehousing) and improve cost efficiency.
  • Build strong visibility on landed costs and support data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong experience across shipments, customs clearance, inventory, and warehousing.
  • Experience managing logistics vendors and partners in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and French is required.
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
