This is an on-site position that requires working in the office five days per week. Applicants must reside in the Portland, OR area.

The Logistics Analyst reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Set an example as a champion of safety and environmental compliance by participating on the office safety team and completing inspections and training.
  • Schedule shipments for the area and manage all related documentation.
  • Coordinate with third-party carriers to ensure on-time product delivery to customers.
  • Manage plant cycle counting, ensure compliance with plant policies and procedures, and maintain appropriate records.
  • Support plant training systems.
  • Monitor local carrier performance and participate in carrier improvement initiatives with the third-party logistics provider.
  • Manage MRP settings and order raw materials for the area.
  • Manage relationships with raw material vendors.
  • Communicate changes related to vendors and raw materials to the area.
  • Manage office supplies, office equipment, uniforms, and other site-related supplies.
  • Manage RedZone and support SMOG reduction efforts for the area.
  • Support other sites as needed.

Required Skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment usage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience working with enterprise software systems.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and environmental regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with plant personnel, third-party logistics providers, carriers, and internal functional groups.
  • Basic English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED with five years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration across stakeholder groups to resolve issues and achieve consensus.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
