Logistics Analyst -Costa Rica (6 month temporary assignment)

We are looking for a local Logistics Analyst based in Costa Rica. This critical role is responsible for driving improvement to our service and quality elements of transportation through effective analysis and management of activity. The Logistics Analyst will manage outbound customer shipments and stock transfers for all domestic modes – Bulk, Intermodal, Rail, Truckload, LTL, Air, and Small Parcel. This role is available on a 6-month fixed term contract.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible to maintain and build an ethical and effective partnerships with internal stakeholders and logistics business partners
- When required, conduct business analysis related to logistics items, assist with RFPs, and look for opportunities to optimize supply chain networks including 3rd party distribution centers, and executing business plans to achieve P&L objectives
- Analyze cost drivers, leveraging KPIs/metrics to support business strategies
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret logistics cost data and present data-driven insights and recommendations for cost savings opportunities to stakeholders across the organization
- Work with cross-functional teams, help drive and implement process improvements and change management initiatives
- Offer an analytics perspective to all team members on various projects and initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree or above required (supply chain or logistics preferred)
- Advanced Excel proficiency required
- SAP knowledge and aptitude preferred
- Knowledge of all modes of transportation
