LAWAZEM is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Logistic Supervisor to join our team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Logistic Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the company's logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the logistics team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and logistics.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels and minimize stock-outs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics technology to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience with remote work and ability to effectively collaborate with virtual teams.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in logistics operations.
