JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in an advertising or translation agency, including experience handling client Language Services or Creative briefs
- A Bachelor’s degree in related field (i.e. English, Linguistics, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business). A combination of education and work experience can be substituted.
- Bilingual
- Understand production processes and the essentials of briefs from a Language Services perspective
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of job-tracking systems
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Previous experience of project management applications and Translation Management Systems
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
- Knowledge of invoicing and P&L processes
JOB DUTIES

- *Oversee Language Services briefs from start to completion, ensuring quality at every stage
- * Day-to-day management of projects and campaigns including: setting and managing project timelines, estimating/reconciling, project administration, status reporting, handling client approvals
- *Manage client expectations and earn their confidence
- Ensure creative excellence in projects by following set creative procedures including interpretation and consolidation of client briefs, with support of Team Lead, Language Services and Creative Team, briefing copywriters, translators and proofreaders
- *Develop a good understanding of job tracking systems
- *Identify and troubleshoot technological bottlenecks in workflow and/or asset management systems
- *Be the central conduit for all project communication and status updates
- Maintain close contact with Client Services team who are also on the same account
- Regularly conduct follow ups after delivery of projects to maintain quality and client relationship
- *Ensure all client/internal deliverables are met, on time
- *Highlight issues before they become problems to manager, ability to know when and how to escalate
- *Accurately quote all jobs and keep the client updated regularly with any additional costs.
- Invoice all projects on final delivery.
- Be commercially aware and highlight any costing errors immediately to the Director.
- With Senior Project Manager, identify potential new business and ways of increasing profitability
- Work closely with Senior Project Manager and other departments on understanding and planning ahead for priority projects
- Give input on improvements, processes and workflows, standard timelines for types of service, communications between departments etc.
- Help develop and train Project Coordinators
