Localisation efforts at Klaviyo are centred around linguistic excellence, cultural relevance, teamwork and scale. As a Sr. Localisation Program Manager at Klaviyo, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Delight our international customers by owning and driving high quality, localised customer experiences for all international markets and languages across Marketing, as well as other parts of the customer journey.
- Drive localisation scale by collaborating with stakeholders to understand goals and priorities, and creating localisation solutions that meet the immediate need as well as the need for long-term scalability.
We are looking for a skilled hands-on Sr. Localisation Program Manager to join the team and help build out a scalable, cost-effective and impactful Localisation function.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and manage efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks for Marketing (and other teams) tailored to the diverse content types across Klaviyo
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Customer Education, Legal etc.) to launch successful localized products and content
- Guide stakeholders across Klaviyo to ensure localization best practices are followed and drive efficient execution
- Proactively identify and streamline technical and process issues that affect localized product and content relevancy, quality, and functionality
- Actively seek out opportunities to optimize the international user experience and influence adoption of optimal solutions
- Collaborate with the Localisation team, stakeholders and other teams to deliver a high quality localised experience for international customers, drive scale in localisation and resolve issues and blockers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience overall, 3+ years of experience in a comparable localisation role on the buyer/client side
- Extensive experience of TMS systems, translation memories, localisation tools, processes and standards, and communicating effectively with stakeholders and the Localisation team on such technology and processes
- Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing localisation solutions at scale
- Experience leading content localisation across multiple languages
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to partner effectively with internal teams and influence roadmaps
- Ability to hold self and teams accountable to a high quality standard
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal in English
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and make trade-offs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Authorisation to work in the UK or Ireland without restriction

Our salary range reflects the cost of labour in the country where the job post is advertised. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
