This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes
How you will contribute
You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting "make or buy" analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

What you need to know about this position:
- Capture Local stakeholder needs and guarantee good alignment and solution with all procurement structure
- Share local business and legal requirements address to procurement Spend Area, ensure they are taken into consideration in strategy definition.
- Facilitate supply issue resolution with procurement Spend Area Teams & local stakeholders.
- Manage the relationship with BU leadership & functional leaders
- Support Spend Area procurement strategies to guarantee innovation and productivities projects and contracts implementation on time.
- Handling legal documentation with suppliers (contracts, confidentiality agreements, etc.). When Spend Area or Business requires support and Genpact can't support directly.
- Ensure compliance of the procurement policy.
- First point of contact for any procurement related issues and escalation process
- Support compliance controls in place.
- Support BCP (business contingency plan) implementation at local sites
- Know and apply the Security, Environment and Quality policies.
- Support MBS Governance team & Accenture.
- Support all local procurement requirements and contributes in the accomplishment oh BU KPIS and projects.
- Support Regional Projects as Supplier Central and CLM
- Support OEA Program
- Support Payment process with AP and strategies to improve POT/ POATF KPIs.
- Spot quotations for NPDs+BCPs+Projects for international transportation and T&W (ocean; air freight, ground transportations).
- For Amex coordinate ocean, air and ground freight negotiations and rates.
- Nexus Tool for Ocean freight update and follow up. Align lanes for each route (official files), pickup address, reefer, dyr, etc. For Amex accesses to NA system in Procurement Role.
- CMASS update and follow up for Copacking.
- Vmass Support for T&W and International Transp suppliers (creation and update of documents). Ensures Customs and Regulatory Management.
- Support Implementation of Bids Ocean Freight + Facilities (contract, finance documentation, standards Quality, HSE and Security). Manage shipping documentation (BL, invoicing, certificate origin, credits, insurance, Payment Terms per locations, Taxes and legislations per country).
Job specific requirements:
- Business, economics or engineering university degree.
- Minimum 5 year of procurement experience.
- Purchasing professional with minimum 5 years of procurement experience indirect materials management.
- Good market knowledge and fairly updated in local and international macro-economic tendencies.
- Proven experience leadership in multi-functional teams.
- Minimum 2 years leading strategic projects.
- Ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation skills acquired in trainings.
- Capable to interact with people from different organization level (external and Internal).
- Customer service oriented.
- Intermediate - Advanced English level.
- Proficient knowledge and handling of Business Software solutions and application Systems, i.e.: SAP, Coupa, Supplier Central, Readsoft , Ipaysmart, Office, Excel, Power Point, Word.
