Zero Networks, an innovative network security solutions provider, is at an exciting time in its history and is growing fast! We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Backend Engineer to join our development team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and components of our platform. As part of your role, you will work on the backend aspects of our platform and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimize full-cycle system performance.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain code deployed on the cloud side and on Linux.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Implement high-performance applications with high coverage, maintaining minimal footprint ensuring code is maintainable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux internals.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one of Go/C#/ C++/ language
- Experience with developing software for Linux OS.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Hands-on experience with high performance code and multithreading.
Advantage:
- Experience with Linux internals module development for multiple distros.
- Experience with Netlink, NFTables and IPTables.
- Solid grasp of networking protocols and stack, including HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
Skills Required
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in at least one of C#/ C++/ Go language
- Solid grasp of Linux OS

- Hands-on experience with system calls, multithreading
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
