The Line Lead 2 leads complex activities within the production cell and coordinates work across multiple functional teams. This role may act as a backup to the Supervisor and has increased influence on process improvements, cross-cell performance, and team effectiveness. This position may also perform assembly work on the production line when needed.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex production activities within the cell to maintain workflow and performance
- Coordinate with multiple functional teams to resolve operational issues and support production goals
- Handle complex, multi-step production and quality issues to minimize impact on output
- Propose process improvements to improve cell and cross-cell performance
- Lead cell activities in the Supervisor's absence to ensure continuity of operations
- Communicate effectively across teams and levels by presenting updates to management
- Lead Tier meetings as required to support alignment and execution
- Provide recommendations that impact team practices and production processes
- Coach team members and support training initiatives to build operational capability
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of electronics manufacturing (Box Build) experience
- SKILLS REQUIRED: Deep knowledge of IPC standards and production flow; Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems; Advanced assembly techniques and troubleshooting skills; Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and methods (LEAN Manufacturing)
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated salary for this position is $29.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
