Shift: PRN. Variable days and hours
Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI and QA activities. Will not be allowed to operate fluoroscopic equipment, period. Will not be allowed to perform Radiologic procedures without a registered Radiologic Technologist on the premises.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One to three years' experience as a Limited Radiologic Technologist, or a current Radiologic Technologist Student in a credible program with a permit to practice as a Limited Radiologic Technologist in the State of Montana is required.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an Accredited School of Limited Radiologic Technology.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current license for Limited Radiologic Technology in the State of Montana is required. Current BCLS is required.
APTITUDES: Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers. Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations. Open to feedback and open to a changing environment, which requires flexibility in scheduling and department assignments.
Skills Required
- One to three years' experience as a Limited Radiologic Technologist, or current Radiologic Technologist student with a permit to practice as a Limited Radiologic Technologist in Montana.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Limited Radiologic Technology.
- Current license for Limited Radiologic Technology in the State of Montana.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

- Flexibility in scheduling and department assignments; open to feedback and changing environments.
