Job Description

As a Lifecycle Services Sales Specialist, you are a senior level selling resource with the capability to engage with customers and position a service or solution offering to be delivered by Rockwell Automation. You work as an overlay to an account manager who has responsibility for the entire Rockwell Automation portfolio. In cases where there is no direct account manager you will be the direct contact for the customer for solutions offerings. You will work with assigned accounts or on opportunities assigned through the win strategy process. You have the responsibility to deliver top line orders for the business coordinating other departments including Contracts, Projects, Application Consultants, Proposal Specialists, and other resources required to close the business. Sales Specialists can be assigned to accounts or opportunities either through their geographic responsibility or through there industry or other specialized expertise.

You will work in a remote setting supporting the Eastern United States and report to the Regional Lifecycle Services Sales Director.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% to customer locations
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of experience selling engineering solutions, projects and contract services.
  • Comprehensive understanding of process controls and automation solutions.
  • Experience proposing and closing sales to achieve assigned nominal annual territory revenue.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field strongly preferred.
  • Industry experience in Power and Coordinated Automation in Automotive, Consumer Product Goods, Eco Industrial, Food & Beverage, Government, Tire & Rubber, Traditional Power, Pulp & Paper.
  • Previous Process Automation in Chemical, Energy, Life Sciences, Mining, Petrochemical downstream O&G preferred.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $135,280 - $202,920 of which 80% is base salary and 20% is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
