Job summary
As a Lifecycle Marketing in Digital Consumer Banking (Chase), you will plan, execute, and optimize customer lifecycle campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS to improve engagement, retention, and long-term customer value. You will work with us to analyze funnel performance, test and learn through experimentation, and strengthen how we communicate with customers across their end-to-end journey. You will help bring structure and clarity to campaign planning, measurement, and governance while keeping the customer experience at the center of your decisions. This role reports to the Head of Growth and Product Marketing.
Job responsibilities
- Set lifecycle strategy and lead research, journey planning, campaign implementation, and ongoing optimization
- Analyze campaign, journey, and funnel performance to identify incremental growth opportunities
- Align campaigns to the wider customer relationship management architecture, ensuring clear briefs, documentation, and pre-launch governance approvals
- Define the vision and roadmap for customer journeys, balancing near-term conversion opportunities with long-term strategic initiatives
- Report channel performance and key performance indicators for individual campaigns and overall outcomes
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing technology, product marketing, product, content, brand, data, and governance teams to improve the end-to-end experience
- Use your lifecycle marketing expertise and digital channel knowledge to continuously improve customer communications and experience
- Drive a structured test-and-learn approach, using experimentation to validate impact and inform prioritization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated experience leading lifecycle marketing and customer relationship management strategies to improve retention and customer lifetime value in business-to-consumer environments
- Proven ability to own business goals and revenue targets and influence senior stakeholders in cross-functional, matrixed teams
- Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate across product, content, creative, data, and governance partners
- Experience working with high-volume customer data and diagnosing whether personalization issues are caused by marketing automation or underlying data pipelines
- Experience managing end-to-end campaigns, including customer segmentation and experimentation (including incrementality testing)
- Hands-on experience with customer engagement platforms (for example MoEngage, Braze, Salesforce, or Adobe Experience) and analytics tools (for example Structured Query Language and Tableau)
- Experience working in a mobile app-based business environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Experience in banking or financial technology (fintech)
