Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate with GE Aerospace design communities in the development and life management approaches and support life methods for Avio Aero components
Execute tasks with a primary focus area of life management for military and commercial applications
Participate in technology maturation projects, working with business leaders to initiate and drive new technology programs in computational or experimental methods for the design and lifing of engine components
Develop and maintain efficient relationships with both internal and external organizations to accelerate and expand the ability to deliver new technology in primary focus areas to our business customers
Qualifications/Requirements
Master's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field with previous experience in industrial environment
Experience in applied fracture mechanics and damage model development
Experience in developing life prediction models and methods
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work across all functions/departments as part of a team
Fluent in English and Italian
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Domain knowledge in gas turbine design and gas turbine lifing technologies
