The THE FORUM is recruiting for Life Enrichment Assistant. In this role you will be assists in the overall planning and implementation of a diverse set of programs designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the residents in the Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing.
Employment Status: Part Time( Must be available to work in the weekends)
Hourly Wage: $22.62- $ 28.21

- Reviews resident activity needs and plans total recreation program based on individual needs and resident interest.
- Coordinates and provides recreation activities that relate to the 8 dimensions of Wellness.
- Is aware of residents’ medical records, regarding diets, allergies & alcohol limitations.
- Assists in purchases and inventories supplies and equipment. Inspects recreation equipment to determine repair and maintenance needs and cleanliness.
- Directs volunteer activities, enlists their support and coordinates their efforts; provides training and supervision of volunteers.
- Maintains accurate documentation of residents’ progress and attendance to programs.
- Coordinates activity services with other departments.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
- Assists with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of all program locations.
- Complies with Federal, State and Local regulations, requirements, and guidelines.
- Develops and facilitates the monthly calendar according to applicable Federal, State and Local regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinates events with Dining Services and other Coordinators as needed or required.
- Facilitates daily displays of activities on the resident engagement portal.
- Process and submit monthly expenses and data.
- Responsible for invoicing entertainers and pastor services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
