The PositionSummary
The Commercial & Operations Lead is an integral part of the Extended Enabling Team. She/he will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial and strategic relationships with the Libya agent, organizations and stakeholders in accordance with the company's overarching objective, goals and strategies. She/he will evolve our commercial operations in Libya from reactive tender management to proactive shaping of the end-to-end tendering, procurement, supply chain, products consumption and quantification processes, systematically leveraging best practices and opportunities while developing and testing scalable & high impact innovative tendering solutions to ensure long-term, sustainable partnership.
Your responsibilities
Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth while building and maintaining strong, trusted, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
Together with local Agent, Roche DA Squads and relevant functions, conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
To explore the risk / opportunities of the tender landscape in regards to realising our portfolio ambitions , co-creation of solutions and shape alternative procurement pathways
Develop solutions to enhance our competitiveness in strategic tendering including through long term value driven partnerships
Take the end-to-end lead for the preparation, response and submission to tenders
Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
Sourcing new partners and executing exciting partnership solutions
Negotiating attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
Ensure effective partner collaboration by supporting established governance processes, timely facilitation and decision making, relationship management and Channels for communication.
Act as a role model and coach for each of the functions involved in day to day management of partnership with Libya
Ensure compliance with all applicable internal policies and procedures, regulations and contractual obligations with partners
Build and maintain trusting collaborative relationships and alliances with internal and external partners, focused on addressing key business objectives and processesWorking closely with other functions to foster strategies and drive high impact for the Business
Who You Are
We are looking to hire an energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys networking and establishing relationships in a VUCA environment.
You hold a University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or any relevant education
You have prior experience in similar position and a strong record of success in building strategic partnerships
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
Solid knowledge of tender management, performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
You are able to foster positive partnerships through effective influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization
You have strong Project Management experience and you are skilled in managing various project teams
You have experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions
You are highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver
You demonstrate the ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
English and Arabic is a must, French is a clear plus.
